Space limited; registration required 

The class will focus on art projects using mixed media, including acrylic paint, modeling paste, textiles, photographs, etc.  We will look at works by Picasso, Matisse and other contemporary artists

• Exploring textures with paper, fabric, and found materials
• Composition and layering
• Mixed-media collages
• Nature-inspired works, abstract compositions

Each session will guide participants through collage techniques and creative prompts, such as:

• Combining paint, drawing, and collage for layered effects
• Creating themed collages (nature, memories, abstract expression)
• Using words and images to tell a personal story
• Transforming recycled or everyday materials into unique artwork
