The class is designed to be welcoming, creative, and stress-free. The goal is to give participants a chance to explore their creativity, learn new skills, and enjoy making art in a supportive environment.  The class will focus on art projects using mixed media and acrylic paint.

About the Instructor

Elizabeth Ries originally trained in photography. She found herself gravitating toward painting, finding it aligned with the tactile experience of traditional photographic dark room techniques.  After several years working in oil, she moved on to acrylics and mixed media.  Using her photographs along with paint, graphite and modeling paste, she creates a world from a captured moment in life.  She enjoys sharing these techniques with others.
