Recurring Programs

The Hopewell Public Library has regular monthly events for different audiences, as well as a series of annual events throughout the year.

Weekly Activities

  • Children’s Story Time – Mondays at 10:15 am

Monthly Activities

  • HPL Adult Book Club – Meets the first Tuesday of the month from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. Come check out the HPL Book Club book of the month at the checkout desk!
  • Speaker Series – Our adult program that brings in local authors and other experts for lectures and readings. Takes place September through May, usually on a Wednesday.
  • Textile Time – A crafters club that meets the first Tuesday of the month from 2:00 – 4:00 pm

Annual Events

  • Seed Exchange – Held in early Spring
  • Book and Bake Sale – Held annually in early June on the Saturday of the Borough-Wide Yard Sale
  • Bake Sale – Held annually during Porchfest
  • Summer Reading Program – Reading and crafts for children and adults, as well as weekly events in July and August!
  • Halloween Extravaganza – Takes place every year immediately following the Hopewell Fire Department’s Halloween Parade
  • Holiday Open House – First Sunday in December
