Join local artist Karen McLean for an art class appropriate for beginners, intermediate to advanced artists. Using a range of materials including pencil, charcoal, markers and conte crayon, students explore issues of line, texture, shape and composition, as well as technique. Students will start with nature and still life before proceeding to simple landscape images. Students will create their own images while referencing examples of well known artists from Picasso to Matisse to Ellsworth Kelly and others. 

This class is limited to 9 students.
