Fall is a perfect time to observe the colors in Nature change and intensify. It’s an opportunity to review basic use of Color in Art, beginning with the Primary Colors and Color Theory. Using Watercolors, students will start with color exercises and proceed to make their own images concentrating on landscape and still life.
The library has materials, but students may wish to purchase their own.
Materials List:
Pad of watercolor paper – approx. 11 x 14”
Set of watercolors – 12 or more colors
Drawing pencils HB or 2B, and a white eraser
Optional: A set of Caran D’Ache watercolor crayons
