New Jersey State Library – Electronic Resources
The New Jersey State Library has posted over 30 free research guides to help explore available information and resources on over 20 topics.

Geneaology – In particular, the Library provides extensive online information on genealogy research, including downloadable research guides, presentation notes, and recorded webinars. The Library genealogy staff can provide assistance in exploring the collections at the Library and the near-by State Archives.
On-site electronic resources – Visitors on-site at the Library can access a wide variety of electronic databases, plus media including references, ebooks, and audiobooks. (Remote access to subscription databases is restricted to State Library authorized users: state employees and, unless otherwise noted, Thomas Edison staff and students.)
New Jersey State Library Talking Book & Braille Center – The TBBC provides no-cost, home-delivered services, including audiobooks and Braille books.
State Library cards are available for free to New Jersey residents, state university employees, college students attending school in New Jersey, and anyone employed in New Jersey. Apply in person at the State Library in Trenton.

Mercer County Library – Electronic Resources
The Mercer County Library provides an online searchable list of over 200 databases and resources, including many free online websites, plus subscription databases available online to library cardholders and resources available on-site at the library.
Available topics include genealogy, academic, history, literature, magazines, business, career, encyclopedias, educational, travel, environmental, health, legal, medical, science, and reading recommendations.
Library cardholders also can access online learning and language learning services. Ancestry Library Edition also is available on-site for genealogy research.
Mercer Country Library cards are available for free to residents of member municipalities, including Hopewell Township and Hopewell Borough. Apply in person at any branch.
